I've been buried in midterms lately, so my original posting schedule hasn't really come to surface. However, the upside in all this is the discovery of this magical man and his magical sounds:

Music perfect for all occasions- walking on a cold fall morning, studying, sleeping, getting ready- you get the jist.
Just perfection.

An Introduction
This blog was created to allow myself an creative outlet, one that could resonate beyond just the thoughts in my brain. Once a private blogger on other servers, I decided to transition to a public website as a means to share my experiences and encounters with friends, family and those I've yet to encounter.
A little bit about myself:
-My name is Daphne, and I'm a university student studying business management in London, Ontario.
-Expressing myself through arts, be it cooking, music or writing, I have found has been the best way to ground myself and relieve stress.
-I never understood what it meant to be passionate about specific things - however, I know that if anything, I am passionate about learning. Small joys in my life include listening to interesting people talk about their lives, watching TedTalks and sitting in on a damn good lecture.
-Albeit the frequency of people saying this, I would love to to travel the world and experience what diverse cultures have to offer. Eating new food, meeting new people, seeing new scenery- what's not to love?
-On that note, I am also a language enthusiast. Born Chinese, I grew up speaking both English and Cantonese, although since childhood my Cantonese speaking skill has been (ashamedly) limited to casual conversations with the grandparents. In high school I began to pick up Mandarin and Korean, as well as continuing my studies in French, as the majority of Canucks do.
I'll leave it to that for now, as I should probably be studying for my midterm (and it's 2 a.m.- the best time to study as said by the typical university kid). I hope that this blog will in time, be able to relate to you, the reader, as I begin this documented version of my life.
From,
Daphne
